Amber is a backronym stand-up for American Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response. It was set up to refer to Amber Rene Hagerman, a kidnapped girl in 1996 who was after found murdered.

Amber Alert is a news broadcast by the Child Abduction Alert System to ask for the public's help in locating a kidnapped child. This system was initiated in the US.

Florida's Amber Alert was circulated to an eleven-year-old girl; according to officials, she was abducted from Panhandle on Wednesday night.

Alerts are issued using emergency alert systems formerly used basically for national emergencies, civil emergencies, or weather reports.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, Banesa Fernandez-Santis was kidnapped at nearly ten p.m. in 5,600 blocks of Arthur Brown Road in Walnut Hill, east of the Florida-Alabama border.

The investigator found that the suspect who kidnapped her is 42 years old.

He is 5ft and 8inch  tall, 140 pounds heavy, and has brown eyes and black hair.

According to the sheriff's office, Banesa was 5ft, 2inch tall, and 120 pounds heavy. She has brown eyes, long black hair, and blisters on his face.
