The average price of gasoline in the United States has fallen 32 cents to $4.54 a gallon in the previous two weeks.

The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the United States hit an all-time high of $5.02 in June.

Fuel costs will skyrocket in 2022. The war in Ukraine has banned oil and other energy sources from Russia, and declining inventories have pushed up prices.

Trilby Lundberg, an industry expert polled by Lundberg, said Sunday oil prices have fallen.

According to Lundberg "Oil prices are likely to continue falling as wholesale gasoline prices continue to fall at street levels."

The median price of pumps is down 55 cents over the previous six weeks but is $1.32 higher than a year ago.

Nationally, the highest average price for regular gasoline in Los Angeles is $5.65 per gallon.

The lowest average price was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at $3.90 per gallon.

According to a survey, the average price of diesel fell 22 cents in two weeks to $5.55 a gallon.
