The future of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in danger due to the resignation of his two ministers. 

On Tuesday, Boris Johnson was hit hard when 2 of his main ministers resigned from their ministry. They said that they couldn't work more for a scandal-hit government.

Minister Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak posted a letter posted on Twitter Tuesday evening that they would resign within minutes.

Rishi Sunak announced his resignation on Tuesday, speaking the government must be run “properly, competently and seriously.”

Sunak wrote on Twitter, "the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously."

He added, “I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning.”

He added more, “I am sad to be leaving government but I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that we cannot continue like this.”

Health Secretary Sajid Javid also declared his resignation in march under the leadership of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

In the letter written to Johnson, Javid discussed the fresh vote of confidence was a “moment for humility, grip and a new direction.”

He added, "I regret to say, however, that it is clear to me that this situation will not change under your leadership -- and you have therefore lost my confidence too."
