According to the latest reports, Elon Musk wants to end his previous deal to purchase Twitter to keep Twitter private at $54.20 per share.

Musk is frequently accused that Twitter has bots and spam accounts on its platform more than his expectations. However, Twitter has refused his excuse and is urging him to complete the deal.

In a new filing on Monday, lawyers of Twitter alleged that Musk is using postponement approaches to undermine the reputation of Twitter.

Twitter desires a trial as early as September, but Musk told the Delaware court to reject the Twitter request to expedite the trial to next year.

The lawyers of Musk argued that Musk took some time to fully investigate whether the company had lied about the number of bots and spam accounts on the platform.

Delaware chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick was ruling on the Twitter case. On Monday, she told both parties that she has Covid.
